Disruptive Innovation: North American Food Industry

Experience: Tried out all possible Pizza combinations and varieties from Zume's customized delivery & autobake oventruck right behind us in the picture above.
Verdict: Loved the final product! I couldn't stop eating more pizza. Later that evening and over the next couple of weeks, repeatedly ordered from Zume just to get a feel for the typical consumer experience & thought their delivery service was pretty fast less bothersome than your normal pizza delivery.
An really important take away from all the wonderful pizzas we ate for weeks was that they were super healthy, even for athletes on a strict diet. Which was absolutely good news for many millenial consumers looking for the right pizza without necessarily breaking that 'summer bod'(Some of my GSB & Mt. View friends went Zume Crazy because of this!). Julia explained that Zume was able to achieve this by investing more on sustainable and natural ingredients without neccesarily compromising on either margins or food quality. The Company had innovated more cost efficient ways to prepare, cook and deliver pizza for a fraction of the cost of its competitors. They could then plough back some of the margins to improve food supplies through quality control, data analytics and automation. Additionally, Zume had a robust consumer targeting & marketing strategy that relied on behavioural data aggregated from other industry players as well as themselves. This gave them a greater competitive edge when they used it to position their mobile cooking and delivery oventrucks in locations where they anticipated higher consumer demand, lowering processing times and increasing sales. For both new and loyal customers, Zume also offered an assortment of complimentary coupons and product offers that enabled them further customize their consumer order predictive processes and cut down on waste, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.
Why Zume is such a big deal: Ordered Pizzas are made by Robots in single automated local food factory. These Pizzas are then delivered in autobake oventrucks to the consumer while still cooking. Zume is smartly sidestepping traditional production & overhead costs, intensitve human labor practices, franchises, stores & delivery inefficiencies; while still amazingly serving you affordable super fresh hot pizza. Now that's a real bargain!

   Isolating of sampled audio peaks, conducting a spectrogram analysis of mp3 Audio signals, Thresholding, finding peak to peak pairs &hashing into a searchable symbol table, keyed by frequency and time ‘t’.

4. SPIDER Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) Polarimeter
   SPIDER is a 9-university balloon-borne collaborative research project supported by NASA, JPL, NSF, CSBF, NSERC/CRSNG, CSA/ASC, The David & Lucile Packard Foundation & The National Institute of Standards and Technology to look for evidence confirming the presence of Gravity Waves thought to be embedded in the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation spectrum at the period of Inflation 13.8 billion years ago.

1. Role of Patronage in Broker Networks & Small Group Structures
   Understanding the Growth of Interpersonal Relationships & Opportunities within the 1st & 2nd Century Roman period
   A historical study into the role that information broker networks have played in promoting social dynamism among peripheral social connections through the ability to link ordinary small group structures (such as households) to more innovative and individually interactive networks. Mostly focused on links among early and mid-stage adoption of disruptive ideas in information networks and how they scale given emerging growth opportunities. This was in order to historically understand the extent to which evolving social & group network activity limits or supports peripheral broker enabled disrupter networks within a larger social organizational context.
   
2. China: Patronage in East Asia
   Tejaprabha in Art
   Researched on the significance of late 9th Century CE to early 14th Century CE artistic descriptions of Tejaprabha in politics, economics & civil strife in an effort to understand the link & role of Patronage in Buddhist materialistic culture, politics, social & cultural events & artistic patronage within an East Asian context. Study limited to historical regions under the Xi Xia, Khittan Liao, Tibet & Late Tang - Early Ming China

   Art & Architecture
   The Significance of Patronage in the construction of the Basilica di Santa Prassede. Collaboratively conducted an on-site field research on the significance of patronage in 9th – 13th Century CE. Mostly focusing on Art & Architectural projects in Rome and Orvieto. These include: Basilicas, Gardens, Catacombs & Fortifications. Discussed User spatial & artistic element interaction in the Basilica di Santa Prassede
